Jim Mossing

President

Jim’s construction experience started in 1969 when he worked for his Dad and Uncle as a mason tender and then as a journeyman bricklayer. He started SMB Construction Co., Inc. in 1979 and has developed an extensive portfolio of satisfied customers. As customer service is the number one priority with Jim and SMB, he will always take the time to listen to his customers and hear what they want.

Rob Keel

Vice-President

Rob came on board with SMB in 1992. Because of his determination and skills, he moved to the top of the company in just 8 years. Rob is one of our lead estimators, and has built an excellent rapport with all of his customers because of his philosophy, “We work for the customer, not the insurance company!”

Jeff Mossing

Vice President of Production

Jeff began his career with SMB in 1994. He has worked in the construction field since 1983. Jeff has worked as a lead carpenter and scheduler until his promotion to Production Manager. With his experience and know how, Jeff is able to handle all aspects of restoration to make sure your property is repaired in a professional and timely fashion.

Jaime (Mossing) Alvarez

Marketing Coordinator


Jaime began her career with SMB in 1998, working in payroll. Her passion and experience for her family business earned her a position in marketing in 2005. She is in charge of coordinating events such as golf outings, smoke detector giveaways and Continuing Education classes for insurance agents. Jaime recognizes the importance of having a restoration company that you can trust and refer so she has made it her mission to make the public aware of SMB’s excellent services and guarantees. Her favorite part of the job is seeing someone who has recovered from a traumatic loss smile again and knowing that SMB Restoration Specialists helped make that happen!

Larry Heilman

Marketing Agent

Larry has spent most of his career in sales for the restaurant and manufacturing industries. For the past two years, he’s been putting all of that valuable experience to work for SMB. He works diligently to develop solid business relationships with insurance agents throughout the Findlay, Lima and Defiance areas. It’s his responsibility to build trust with them through excellent customer service and educate them about the services SMB Restoration Specialists have to offer.

Todd Shupp

Estimator

Todd has been in the restoration field since 1988, coming from a background in business management. As an estimator, Todd understands the kind of grief and inconvenience that a customer goes through when they have lost their home to a fire or other tragedy. That’s why he works hard for the customer, making sure that they receive the necessary resources to rebuild their home from a “nightmare” to a “dream home”.

Erich Hochleitner

Estimator

Erich has been with SMB Restoration Specialists for over a decade and many of these years were spent in the field engaged in hard work and perseverance to “put the customer first”. Erich will help guide you through an unexpected time of loss with his extensive knowledge. Step by step, he will enable you to overcome any obstacle with innovative solutions to rebuild not just your house, but your home.

Bill Lark

Estimator

Bill began his career in the restoration industry in 1997 as a cleaning technician and has built on that with experience and many certifications leading to a successful career as estimator for SMB Restoration Specialists. Bill’s main expertise is walking into a fire or water loss and implementing major damage control to prevent further loss and then restoring what can be saved. His dedication to customer satisfaction allows him the ability to tune in to a customer’s needs and wants and act on them with excellent speed.

Jeff Hefner

Estimator

Jeff Hefner joined SMB in 2008. Jeff is responsible for and manages the Findlay, Ohio operation. He has over 30 years of construction experience with 15 of these years in management.  While his extensive field background, and vast knowledge bring valuable tools to the team, it is his coaching of employees that has brought success to his branch. Jeff believes that home owners should look for a qualified restoration company to help them rebuild their lives, after tragedy strikes.

Mark Reed

Estimator

Mark began his career with SMB Restoration Specialists in 2000. Starting off as a field worker and then evolving into a project manager, he has worked all aspects of the job from large to small. After many years of hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction, he has grown to understand a customer’s needs from the time he steps foot into a customer home until the day we are complete. Now, as an estimator, he works hard to keep the customer satisfaction at its highest. He is proud to be a Restoration Specialist and will be around for many years to come.

Debbie Early

Office Manager & Bookkeeper

Debbie has 25 years of accounting experience. She began her career with SMB in 2001 as their bookkeeper and has grown into the office manager. She works directly with the mortgage and insurance companies on behalf of our customers. She also makes sure our customers receive their lifetime warranties in writing. Debbie enjoys every aspect of her busy job.
